How Open Sesame Garage Doors collects, uses and protects your information. Effective October 2026.

If you apply for financing, you give that information to our financing partner, and we receive what's needed to complete the job.

When you visit our website, we collect standard visit data such as pages viewed, browser type and approximate location, through Google Analytics. The site also loads Google Maps and a reviews widget from Elfsight, which may set their own cookies.
We use your information to schedule and complete your service, send estimates and invoices, take payment, answer your questions, keep a service history for your home, and, if you agree to it, send you text messages as described below. We use website visit data to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

Messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, technician arrival updates, estimates and invoices, and, if you separately agree to marketing texts, follow-ups on open estimates, tune-up reminders and special offers. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text messaging opt-in data and consent with any third party for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We keep customer records for as long as they're useful for your service history and warranty questions, and as long as the law requires us to. There is no set date when records are deleted.
You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop using it for marketing by contacting us below. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
